Good News & an Increase on the Way!

      A busy month here.   Two beautiful weddings I was fortunate to photograph in Central Illinois.   One lovely day with newlyweds at Funk's Grove.   Last weekend another gorgeous day and fabulous family wedding at the Luthy Botanical Garden in Peoria.   With all of the hot, humid days here, I was so impressed that both these brides chose days with mild temperatures and scant humidity.   Have a few of the new pix up in the Wedding gallery.        In between I've fit in babies, pregnant moms, seniors and a great family gathering - with some of their family coming from Albuquerque (my hometown - I have offered to hand deliver their photos!).    I am so thankful for these opportunities and look forward to many more!    Fall is a fabulous time for family photos - book your session now to take advantage of great colors and great weather!         One funny.....my 3 year old grandson was visiting yesterday.   He likes to practice pose so I can photograph his boots or his John Deere tractor - whatever is on hand.   Yesterday he wanted to take my picture.   I put the camera strap around his neck and tried to sit close to him.   I put my hands up near my face and he said 'Grandma, no, put your hands like this...on your knees, and smile at me!'    A photographer in training??             Have a wonderful weekend whether you are in Carlock, Illinois or Australia - or anywhere in between!
